Ellie Willaert

Ellie is the daughter of Pat and Niki & big sister to Desirae and Colson.
She was born on April 4, 2003.
On April 29, 2008, she was diagnosed with a diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma.
Ellie was treated at Children’s Hospital of Saint Paul and the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital.
Her treatment included 6 weeks of radiation immediately after diagnosis;
Blood Brain Barrier Disruption treatment in October after news of progression;
tumor stable until January then saw progression;
Ellie went home to Jesus on February 19th, 2009

Ellie went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on February 19th, 2009
and now resides tumor free in Heaven. Her spirit and smile live on here on
earth and we anxiously await the day when we will meet again.
