Andrew Wayne Smith

Andrew is the son of Shawn and Sandy & younger brother to Stephen and Charis Joy.
He was born on April 21, 2001.
On October 26, 2007, he was diagnosed with a diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma.
Andrew is being treated at Sparrow Hospital & National Institutes of Health.
His treatment has consisted of radiation, nutritional changes and supplements.

Andrew is a happy-go-lucky seven year old who enjoys life.  He is very perceptive, and he has a heart for others--especially other children facing medical challenges.  He enjoys Sugar (his dachshund), Superman, cowboys, singing, playing the piano, swimming, fencing and dark chocolate.
